On the evening of November 13, the "HI, N6 - Dongfeng Nissan 'Best PHEV for Home' Technology and N6 Pre-sale Conference" was held at Dongfeng Nissan headquarters in Huadu. 

The technology and pre-sale conference officially released and shared to the public for the first time the newest achievement that combines more than 30 "best for home" new energy technologies, including Nissan's first-in-the-world plug-in hybrid system for passenger car - AI Cloud Engine PHEV, the industry's first plug-in hybrid anti-stall intelligent control technology, ultra-safe Cloud Shield battery, the world's first Qualcomm 8775 × Momenta flywheel big model cockpit-driving fusion solution, and the brand new rear zero-pressure cloud sofa, among others, bringing with them three major advantages of "energy saving, intelligent comfort, and safety". The pre-sale was launched at the same time, with the pre-sale prices and benefits announced. The prices range from 109,900 yuan to 121,900 yuan; During the pre-sale period, with the additional limited-time ordering gift, the pre-sale price with benefit starts as low as 106,900 yuan. 

As Dongfeng Nissan's first plug-in hybrid sedan, Dongfeng Nissan N6 was developed based on the Tianyan architecture. It debuted through official channels on August 9, and will be officially launched to the market on December 8, with delivery started simultaneously. Based on the same Tianyan architecture of N7, a full-stack self-developed new energy technology architecture, Dongfeng Nissan N6 applies large batteries to achieve ultra-long pure electric range, aiming to create plug-in hybrid experience that is more comfortable and pure electric-like, and therefore is known as the "plug-in hybrid version of N7". 

In this pre-sale, Dongfeng Nissan N6 came in three versions: 180 Pro, 180Max, and 180Max+. Offering high standard configurations, all models of the N6 series have a large battery with over 20 kWh capacity and a pure electric range of 180 kilometers. 

AI Cloud Engine PHEV empowers 

three advantages of "the best plug-in hybrid for home" 

The N6 is the first to have the new AI Cloud Engine PHEV system, which is the product of Nissan's 78 years cultivation in electrification and nearly 20 years of experience in hybrid vehicle R&D, and brings with it three core advantages. 

Firstly, super performance in energy saving. The N6 is equipped with a 21.1 kWh high-capacity CTP battery, which achieves a pure electric range of 180 kilometers, ranking first in its class; and the fastest energy replenishment speed in its class, taking only 17 minutes to recharge from 30% to 80%, "recharge once a week, a plug-in hybrid can be used as a pure electric car". Energy saving in all scenarios is also a reality, with a fuel consumption per 100 kilometers with depleted/low battery under CLTC cycle as low as 2.79L, meaning a travel cost of less than 2,000 yuan a year. 

Secondly, super intelligent comfort. With the blessing of AI, the system features coordinated adaptation to terrain, temperature, and altitude, achieves a 30% increase in plateau power, and can maintain worry-free driving in extreme cold. When the N6 is idling, the noise in the car is as low as 38.5 decibels, the lowest in its class, no more than flipping through a book in a library. It also features seamless and imperceptible switching between electric and gasoline power. 

Finally, super safety. The industry's first anti-stall intelligent control technology applies triple protection means—battery charge miscalculation prevention, intelligent power distribution, and low-voltage emergency protection— to eliminate the risk of power interruption under extreme low-battery conditions, making the N6 the first model of the industry to pass the "Plug-in Hybrid Anti-Stall Challenge" of the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (CATARC). The special plug-in hybrid engine inboard the N6 is developed on the basis of the Dongfeng Nissan engine technology that has been verified by 16 million users, and has passed the equivalent of 7.5 million kilometers of rigorous testing, ensuring safety and reliability under all operating conditions.

Builds a "safe home" 

Safety, being the cornerstone of Dongfeng Nissan's car manufacturing, has been the unchanging commitment of the global manufacturer to quality. 

In terms of battery safety, Dongfeng Nissan has officially launched the independently developed, packaged and produced Cloud Shield batteries, without comprising Nissan's highest global standards. Having at its core the industry's first "whole package 6-dimensional safety design” the Cloud Shield battery can achieve 24-hour monitoring and early warning as early as 3 months in advance. The battery has successfully passed the double-national-standard vibration endurance test (equivalent to 600,000 kilometers) coupled with a six-needle penetration test, which is far exceeding the requirements of the new national standard to be effective in 2026. 

In terms of passive safety, the N6 adopts a five-horizontal and ten-vertical ultra-safety cage body, the same rear ultra-high-strength steel A-shaped architecture as the luxury car, resulting a body torsional stiffness of 35,738 Nm/degree, and a "steel backbone" to protect the family.

The "big sofa" is one of Dongfeng Nissan's unique advantages. The N6 takes the lead in the industry to adopt AI zero-pressure cloud sofa, which, combined with a number of industry-leading technologies such as the only intelligent electronic skin system in its class, the industry's unique AI core algorithm, and the only active flank support in its class, makes the name of the N6 as the "million-level sofa with the most superlative words". The release introduced two additional new OTA functions: dynamic flank support optimization and gentle wake-up of nap mode. 

In order to extend the million-level comfort experience of the front seats to the rear ones, Dongfeng Nissan officially launched the "Rear Zero Pressure Cloud Sofa", and installed it first on the N6. The zero-pressure cloud sofa continues Nissan's unique Spinal ergonomics and adopts a four-layer composite structure, which combined with the zero-pressure comfort algorithm, achieves a sitting softness that is 50% higher than cars of the same level, and a sense of support comparable to that of 1.5 million luxury models, and has passed the comfort certification by both CATARC and TüV Rheinland. 

The industry's first all-domain smart anti-motion sickness technology has made Dongfeng Nissan the pioneer in this field. The version 2.0 released at the Conference bring is upgraded with intelligent hill compensation, intelligent anti-slip control and curve stabilization control, and even an intelligent creep mode for congestion scenarios in the city, reducing pedal operation by 20%. This technology, having been jointly certified by CATARC and the Affiliated Hospital to Sun Yat-sen University, is firmly established in the leading position in the field of anti-motion sickness.
