Approved! Huadu Will Have a New Landmark of Cultural Tourism

Good news! Zhudong Village, Chini Town, Huadu District, will have another agricultural cultural tourism complex project. Recently, Huadu District Sub-bureau of the Guangzhou Municipal Planning and Natural Resources Bureau, through efficient approval process and precise services, successfully completed the land provision for the Zhudong Agricultural, Cultural and Tourism Complex project, providing a solid guarantee in terms of land provision for the implementation of the project.
Located in Zhudong Village, Chini Town, Zhudong Agricultural, Cultural and Tourism Complex is a key rural cultural and tourism integration project under the "Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand" project in Huadu District. It will rely on the integrated model of "ecology + culture + industry" to create a comprehensive scenic spot integrating pastoral tourism, cultural experience, science popularization and education, and health and wellness vacation, and will aim to promote the deep integration of region-specific bonsai industry and cultural tourism economy. In order to accelerate the implementation of the project, Huadu District Sub-bureau took a number of measures, including strengthening planning guidance, innovating land supply models, and setting up special service teams, to effectively solve the difficulties in land use, and has accumulated in the process valuable experience in ensuring rural revitalization, advancing urban-rural integrated development, and promoting intensive land use.
Lead with planning and activate new momentum for rural development. In response to the rural revitalization strategy of Huadu District, the Sub-bureau, in light of the conditions of planning and investment promotion of cultural tourism projects in Zhudong Village, has deepened and optimized the scope of 7 supporting facilities projects in Zhudong Village, involving a total area of 4.68 hectares (about 11.56 acres). Aiming at the goal of "industrial prosperity + ecological livability", the project adds to the unique natural and cultural landscape of Zhudong Village, a whole range of experiential tourism supporting projects such as hotels, homestays, catering, shopping, cultural and creative, among others to improve infrastructure and public services. It not only allows villagers to enjoy the same supporting facilities as urban citizens, but also provides high-quality tourism products for people in the city, and consequently realizes the continuous increase in income of village collectives and villagers, promotes high-quality development of rural cultural tourism, and effectively advances the integrated development of urban and rural areas.
Implement precise policies and innovate the land supply model to solve problems. Taking into consideration of the characteristics of the project and the actual conditions of the region, Huadu District Sub-bureau makes good and full use of the land reservation policy. By joining forces with enterprises to build agricultural, cultural and tourism complex project, it tries to solves the problem of fragmentation and inefficient utilization of reserved land, and integrates the reserved land into the rural tourism industry chain. At the same time, through planning adjustment, about 11.53 acres of urban and rural residential construction land for commercial use was added, and relevant supporting roads were optimized to align the development of reserved land with the transportation and commercial supporting facilities of the agricultural, cultural and tourism project, so as to improve the actual utilization value of reserved land, and realize the efficient allocation of land resources.
Efficient promotion and special team services accelerated the speed. In order to ensure the efficient progress of land provision, Huadu District Sub-bureau has set up a "one-to-one" service teams to provide accurate services for the project throughout the whole process. The special teams have a mechanism of "list-based management and node-based promotion", and the team members take the initiative to offer frontline services. And at the same time “green channels" have been opened; guidance is given to the land users to start and promote multiple key stage work simultaneously; and the mechanism of " acceptance for processing incomplete materials, and parallel approval" is implemented for project application materials, to activate the "accelerated mode" of project land provision that greatly shortens the approval cycle of land provision work.
With the concept of "ecological value transformation" at the core, the Zhudong Agriculture, Cultural and Tourism Complex project will, after completion, be an important window to display the achievements of urban-rural integration development in Huadu District. The next step of Huadu Sub-bureau will be to continue the pursuit of "appreciated value of land, increased income of villagers, and improved benefits of the collective", and by leveraging the diversified coordination of "district, towns, villages and enterprises" promote the formation of replicable and generalizable "Huadu sample", so as to contribute more to rural revitalization.
